Reinforcing Your Faith in the Final Days

2 Peter is our blueprint for Reinforcing Our Faith (In The Final Days)

On Sunday June 18, 2023 at 8 A.M. The Titan submersible began its deep dive of 13,000 feet into the Atlantic Ocean to view the wreckage of the Titanic. One hour and 45 minutes into the two hour descent communications were lost between the Titan and the supporting surface vessel. The Titan failed to resurface at the scheduled 3:00 P.M. time.

On Thursday June 22nd a debris field containing parts of the Titan was located near the Titanic. The Titan had experienced a “catastrophic implosion.” Despite the numerous warnings of experts concerning the safety of the Titan at these depths, the pilot and CEO of the Oceangate Titan chose to make this dangerous dive. He expressed an almost cavalier confidence in the design and durability of the vessel even at these extreme depths. The result was the loss of his life and the other four passengers aboard with him. Engineers describe a “catastrophic implosion” of this magnitude occurs when the pressure exerted on the outside of the vessel exceeds the pressure within the vessel. This physical event illustrates a spiritual reality for every follower of Jesus Christ attempting a “deep dive discipleship” into a culture increasingly hostile to their faith.

The Noah Factor
$9.99

How did Noah convince his family to build the ark over a 120 year span and then enter it with him at his command?

That to me is the real challenge as a spiritual leader. How do I lead my family or others assigned to me through this messed up maze of a world that’s gone wickedly wacked out of God’s way? How do I convince and compel them to follow me as I follow the Lord?

Are you beginning to feel it yet? The gravity of Noah’s assignment grounded in the context of real world relationships and circumstances. He better be sure that it is God speaking to him. He better be sure that He is in tune with every thought and intention that God has to communicate into his own life and through his life to others. His life and that of his beloved family is dependent upon his worship of, walk with, and wisdom from God. And so are mine and yours.
